What is The Hectic Eclectic Linux Users Group?

We are an extremely small linux users group. We hope to stay
that way, as we like smaller groups. If you are looking for a REAL
linux user group in the Dallas area, try The North Texas Linux Users Group
They are huge, meet at the Nokia complex in Irving and are very well
organized. If you want something closer, with a more hobbyist/personal
atmosphere we're the place for you. So please, have a look around, and
if you're interested about something or have input of any kind--or just
bored really, send us an email.

Why Start Another LUG in the area?

Well, to our knowledge there are two other LUG's in the area
one in Ft. Worth -- which is farther than most of us want to
drive--and the NTLUG, which has gotten way to big for our taste..
